All of the steps are quite similar to the import from the IB website.
Just please be aware if you are mixing WEB imports and TWS imports, they are in different formats and might show wrong calculations or errors. To avoid it don’t mix trades if some are still open between WEB and TWS imports. Use only one of the import options.
First thing would be to export the trades from the Traders Workstation
1. Go to New Window
2. Trade History
3. Choose how many days to view (Maximum available is 7 days)
4. Go to File —-> Export Displayed Reports
5. Choose Custom Columns
6. Select ALL properties and click OK
7. Click ok. This will export a CSV file to selected folder. By default C:\Jts
Now we can import the CSV file into the journal
1. We delete any previous data, if it needs to be deleted
2. Import the CSV file. This will import the data into Sheet1 (it is not compiled yet)
3. Compile the DATA by pressing TWS TRADES button
4. If everything was successful, you should see your new trades in DATA sheet
5. Refresh the dashboard by pressing the refresh icon.
